Be a Cavity-Free Kid
at Dr. Grimball’s Dentistry for Kids
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that a child’s first dental visit take place before their first birthday. The earlier the dental visit, the better the chances are to prevent dental problems, such as nursing decay.
A nursing infant, a school-age child, and a teenager all have unique dental requirements. Our goal is to treat dental problems while they are still manageable or to prevent them from happening at all. Dr. Grimball will discuss a program of preventive home care including brushing, flossing, diet control, and the importance of fluoride, along with regular scheduled dental visits. Dr. Grimball may also discuss whether your child would benefit from sealants to protect from tooth decay.
